Group/Centre Activities
Group/Centre Activities refer to organised and structured sessions where NDIS participants engage in communal activities, usually at a dedicated facility or centre. These can include but are not limited to social outings, skill-building workshops, therapeutic activities, and recreational pursuits.
Participating in Group/Centre Activities enables NDIS participants to foster social connections, build self-confidence, and develop life skills in a safe and supportive environment. It offers a platform for individuals to share experiences, learn from one another, and ultimately lead a more enriched and socially connected life. Furthermore, these sessions can significantly enhance a participant’s mental and emotional well-being by combating feelings of isolation.
